He is a Border Collie, so he has a lot of energy. He needs daily exercise and activity time. He is also very clever. He knows "sit," "stay," "wait," and "fetch/drop." His best trick is "inside voice": when you ask for it, he barks very softly. When you ask for a toy back, he drops it and nudges it over to you with his nose.<br/><br/>Good manners<br/>Tucker is house-trained and crate-trained, and he walks well on a leash. He is calm when he stays home alone during the workday.<br/><br/>Health<br/>Tucker came to us overweight from a previous home. He now eats a prescription weight-loss food. His new owner must continue this diet and give him regular exercise. With an active owner, Tucker can become a fit and happy dog again.<br/><br/>The right home for Tucker<br/><br/>An adult-only home. Tucker has never bitten anyone. But he becomes nervous and territorial around young children, so he needs a home with no kids.<br/>The only pet. Tucker is selective with other dogs and cats.
