Our general adoption process: 1. Submit Application - Submit your application online. 2. Approve Application - We will review your application and verify your information. If the pet you have selected may not be a good fit, we may suggest a different one. We will also be checking with your local Dog Control Officer and any Animal Abuse Registry to verify your information. 3. Meet the Pet - Once approved for the meet and greet, you will meet the pet in person a minimum of one time, or more, depending on the animal. With Avian species, there are other specific requirements and additional meets required. Upon successful completion of your and the animals' meeting. There will be a minimum of 24 hours before moving onto signing the adoption contract. At this time, you will be approved or denied for the animal you have met. 4. Sign Adoption Contract - Once approved, you will sign an adoption contract online that we send to you. 5. Pay Adoption Donation Fee - This can be done in person, or we can send a link over to you. 6. Take the Pet Home - You and your new family member will head home. At any point during the application process, to the very end, we may complete a home visit.
