Tucker is a 3-year-old Chihuahua-Beagle mix weighing 18 pounds, and he’s ready for the stability and love he truly deserves. <br/><br/>This handsome boy coexists well with other dogs, but what he really craves is his very own person to bond with. A home with the right dog could work, but Tucker’s heart belongs to people—he prefers human affection over canine company.<br/><br/>He’s also an independent little guy who can happily entertain himself playing with a ball, so he’s easygoing and low-maintenance. Tucker’s journey hasn’t been easy.<br/><br/>Found in deep South Texas suffering from a severe infection in his nose and eyes, he was diagnosed with cancer. Thanks to dedicated care and treatment, Tucker is now cured and ready for a fresh start.<br/><br/>He was treated for heartworm and is Chagas negative.<br/><br/>His adoption fee is $450 which includes his transport to St Augustine on Dec. 20th for Gotcha Day.
