Tucker's Story

🐾Meet Tucker🐾 Tucker is a 3 year old Poodle mix. He is ready to find his furever family! Tucker is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, prevention, is microchipped, and neutered. He came to us with his buddy Sampson, a small Pug mix. We are hoping to find them a home together. They came to us from Nelson County KY Animal Control and Shelter from a hoarding situation where their owner passed away. They deserve a fresh start! Tucker is 12.8 lbs and was voluntarily groomed by our lovely groomer, Haley, at our Home Away Pet Spa. If im and Sampson get adopted together we will offer a discount on their adoption fees. Warrick Humane Society's Adoption Policy

The Warrick Humane Society is a no-kill organization. Once an animal is rescued by WHS, it is saved for life. We will not release an animal to another organization that has a policy of euthanasia. In addition, we will only place animals with qualified prospective owners. We do not adopt out dogs or cats that will be kept outside. We only want loving indoor homes for our pets. We do thorough checks on all of our potential adopters before sending them to their fur-ever home. We also require that if you adopt a pet from us and are no longer able to keep it that it be returned to us, so that we can find it a new home.
