Trudy's Story

Meet Trudy! I am full of life and energy. Pointers are known for their wonderful noses allowing them to find birds and other prey. I love games where I use my nose to seek out hidden goodies or scented objects. That spells fun. I am learning some basic skills and obedience training. I already know how to sit. Having an experienced owner that understands my breed would best. While being here at HPC it has been discovered that I have allergies, daily medication keeps my allergies at bay and me comfortable. Stop in soon to meet me. I am micro chipped just like all my HPC friends.

Adoption counseling is the best way to ensure a lifelong match between you and your pet. Our staff will answer any questions you may have about our animals during our adoption process. We feel that a personal meeting with you and your family will allow you the opportunity to get to know the pet you may be choosing. Please stop in and meet our available pets! West J Street is also Highway 6 on the south side of Hastings. You can find us about 1/8 mile west of the intersection of Highway 6 and Highway 281. The Heartland Pet Connection has been serving animals of south central Nebraska since October 2004. Our 5,000 square foot facility provides a safe haven for lost or surrendered pets and an opportunity for many families to find the perfect forever friend.
