Trudy's Story

Trudy was a transfer from Clearlake Animal Association when the shelter was undergoing a management change and needed a soft place for animals to land during the transition. Trudy was heart worm positive when we took her in and we knew it would be a long road to recovery for this stout little girl.

Through Trudy's treatment process, which required lots of rest and downtime, she showed us just how adaptable and resilient a spirit she is. She napped her days away in a crate in the office and was happy to greet her many visitors that checked on her.

Now that Trudy has finished treatment, she is ready for a home and people to call her own! Trudy is a playful and silly girl that loves walks with her doggie friends and doing zoomies whenever she can! We've fallen in love with Trudy.

All of our animals are up to date on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have had a physical exam. At adoption we provide: veterinary records and vaccine certificates, castration certificate, lifetime lost animal support, one months worth of flea medication and heartworm medication, one weeks worth of food, a leash, a collar, an ID tag, and a familiar toy or blanket to help them settle in. We also provide lifetime basic positive training support.

If you would like to meet any of our animals, please complete our adoption application at www.azayaranchsanctuary.org or email info@azayaranchsanctuary.org.
