She loves to lean her full body weight into her person, shower them with kisses, and curl up as close as physically possible. If she’s not glued to you on the couch, you’ll find her tucked into a fluffy dog bed, quietly watching the world go by or happily chewing on a tasty bone.<br/><br/>Trubs enjoys going outside when asked and takes leisurely strolls at her own pace. She’s very polite on walks and prefers to be your little shadow rather than leading the parade. Call her to come inside, though, and she’ll suddenly discover her inner speed demon—straight back to the door she goes.<br/><br/>When she’s feeling playful, Trubs loves a good “power-up”: gentle rubs down her sides and a few pats on the butt can trigger an adorable burst of zoomies, often followed by her grabbing a toy and settling in for—you guessed it—more snuggles.<br/><br/>She sees herself as a tiny guard dog and will bark to announce visitors, but don’t let that fool you. Her tail is usually wagging the whole time, and her little pink tongue is often peeking out, giving away her soft heart. She can be a bit territorial of her space and may give a warning growl if other animals get too close, but she’s never gone beyond that—she just likes her boundaries respected.<br/><br/>Trubs would thrive in a calm, patient home that understands shy dogs blossom with time and love.
