Meet Tru ?<br/><br/>From the streets of Texas to a second chance at life, Tru’s story is one of resilience and hope.<br/><br/>When Tru was first found, he was trying to cool himself under a drain pipe, letting tiny drops of water drip on his head in the unbearable Texas heat. He was so scared he would cry, scream, and even pee himself. ? But with patience, love, and time, Tru learned he was finally safe. Within a week, his puppy side began to shine through.<br/><br/>? About Tru:<br/> • ? Affectionate & independent – Loves attention but also enjoys his “me time.”<br/> • ? Smart & trained – Knows commands like sit and stay, is kennel trained, and alerts when he needs to potty by sitting at the door and spinning to get attention.<br/> • ? Playful soul – Toys are his favorite pastime!<br/> • ? Great with kids – Gentle and loving with toddlers and older children.<br/> • ? Cat-friendly – Has been around cats without issues.<br/> • ? Dog-friendly – Gets along well with other dogs.<br/> • ? Easy-going walker – Not a runner or escape artist. Walks right by your side, even off leash.<br/><br/>Tru has come such a long way from that terrified pup under the drain pipe.
