Trooper's Story

TROOPER IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OR RESCUE!

TROOPER VIDEO: https://youtu.be/T1y8wTJBMpw

CONTACT: OC Animal Care
1630 Victory Rd
Tustin, CA 92782
Monica Marshall, monica.marshall@occr.ocgov.com
DESKLINE: 714-796-0065

PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Trooper's story prior to coming into the shelter, like so many others, is unknown. He is scared and nervous in the shelter environment but who wouldn't be? It's loud and chaotic! Trooper needs a special family/person that would be willing to give him the time he needs to decompress and become secure in his new surroundings. Trooper is not a dog for everyone. He needs a patient family/person that will not force him into situations he's not ready for. This can take months for some dogs. Children or other animals in the home are not recommended at this time due to his being nervous and unsure of what's
coming next. These factors could be re-evaluated after he decompresses.

Here is a note from Trooper to his potential new adopters:
Howdy, I'm Trooper, the smell-loving, super smart pup! I've put in the hours to master some important doggie skills, such as sit, shake, and down! I'm also a bit nervous in new places, but with some time, love, and lots of sniffs, my loyalty and affection are unwavering. I'm ready to be your faithful companion through thick and thin!

Please contact the Orange County Animal Shelter for more information on Trooper and to arrange a meet n' greet. Already have a canine companion? Bring them with you for a proper introduction.

BREED: Bully breed blend

AGE: 3 years

HEALTH: All rescue dogs are vaccinated, altered, and micro-chipped.
