Trixie is a a true introvert, she is sensitive and enjoys people time more than anything. She loves to cuddle, and loves everyone. She will be okay with children older than 8, maybe younger than that, but she’s never been around small ones. She will tolerate other dogs, too, but she is not going to be their playmate. Trixie is more of a cat “dog”,
Aww....you know, there’s something so soothing about a hound dog’s face. Just look at Trixie. Her face makes you want to hug her and never let go! She is as soft as warm butter and always ready to curl up with you. She is a mix of boxer and redbone. And she most certainly has the boxer blaze on her chest. Very pretty girl with perfect eyeliner!

Trixie is current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative on monthy preventative ,and microchipped.
Trixie is in the Paws in Prison program where she receives obedience training. She is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 2/7/20 The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive his training journal. This journal documents everything from his entering the facility, his daily training progress, and interactions with his trainers.
