Trixie's Story

Meet Trixie! 🎾💜

Trixie is a petite powerhouse of joy and zoomies — about 55 lbs of personality, playfulness, and pure heart. She was found as a stray and quickly became a shelter favorite before heading to her foster home, where she’s proving that she’s equal parts snuggle bug and adventure buddy.

✨ Personality & Favorites:
Let’s be real — toys are life. Rubber toys, squeaky toys, stuffed toys, chew toys… if it squeaks, bounces, or can be proudly paraded around the house, Trixie’s obsessed. She’s also a pro at morning and bedtime cuddles, loves going for walks, and enjoys being in the middle of whatever you’re doing — laundry, dishes, sweeping, you name it. If you’re busy, she’ll “help” by shoving a toy into your hand (or sometimes your crotch 😅).

🏡 Her Ideal Home:
Trixie’s dream family is active and home more often than not — she really struggles with being alone for long stretches and doesn’t love her crate (she’ll go in it, but she’ll definitely have opinions about it). She’d do best in a home where someone works from home or part-time. A big yard with a tall fence for her zoomies would be the ultimate bonus.

She can live with another tolerant dog but would also thrive as the only spoiled pup. She’s great with kids, especially those old enough to understand that toys are her sacred treasures — she’s been known to guard them on occasion.

💪 Training & Good Stuff:
Trixie already knows sit, down, come, and go potty, and she’s working on leave it and her leash manners. She’s house-trained, sleeps through the night, and does not destroy her things — even if she’ll tell you the crate is not her favorite place to hang.

🐾 In Short:
Trixie is an affectionate, goofy, toy-loving girl who just wants to be part of everything. She’ll make you laugh, keep you company, and remind you daily how great it feels to have a loyal best friend who’s always up for a walk, a snuggle, or one more round of fetch.

If your family is ready for a fun, affectionate, toy-hoarding sidekick, Trixie is ready to steal your heart (and your squeaky toys).

EST DOB: June/2024
