Trixie's Story

Trixie was found as a dumped dog off the infamous Dowdy Ferry Rd in Dallas. She was found with several other small dogs. Trixie also was full of milk. We searched the woods but did not find any puppies. We can only assume the owners took the puppies to sell and dumped her off in the woods.
All the dogs were originally taken to the shelter. We couldn't leave this sweet little mama terrified in the shelter, so we grabbed her. While at the shelter she developed a respiratory infection and we had her in quarantine for a month. She is now healthy and ready to find her forever home.
Trixie's milk has dried up, she is now spayed, microchiped, vaccinated and heartworm negative.
We believe she is a terrier mix. She is 2 years old and weighs 20lbs.
She is very active and playful and does great with other dogs and is okay with cats. She is a little nervous at first, but warms up quickly.
She loved to snuggle and loves to lay next to you on the couch, however she does like to sleep in her own bed.
Give this little mama the best gift for mother's day; a forever home.
