Yep...we get it. That is a fairly stern introduction but if the people who sold her as a puppy, had drilled these genetic traits home to potential buyers, instead of selling to the first person with a pocket full of cash and a desire to have the same kind of dog Channing Tatum had in the movies, this beautiful girl would not be here right now, needing that needle in a haystack home.

This is Trinity.

Beauty. Brains. Ability. The working dog trifecta.

Trinity is 18 months old and currently lives in a rural setting, in a home with other dogs but would do best as an only child. She loves people and affection but her tolerance with other animals is not good. Typical of people who buy before researching, Trinity proved to be to much dog and got locked up and nearly starved to death. Those important months of learning social skills, were lost but in her foster home, she gives 100% to learning and trying to please her humans.

Trinity is toy and fetch driven. She has all the energy needs you would expect from this breed as well as the loyalty and desire to know where her people are, at all times. She LOVES car rides and is the happiest pup on the planet, sailing down the road with her head out the window. Her leash skills, also missed that important early learning window but she gets better with each outting.

Trinity knows many fun things and commands.

Sit, down and wait, both verbal and with hand signals.
Shake
Play dead (lay flat and wait)
Easy- take toy very gently
Come up = extend arm and she will put her front feet on your arm
With me= stay by your side as your walking and likes to keep her chin in your hand for some reason. She likes a point of contact at all times.
Both toy and treat driven-times 100
Likes to pack toys around.
Loves a herding ball.
Does not bark unnecessarily.
Have never seen her dig.
Loyal to her people
Chew but only on given chew toys. Will pick up sticks and pack them around and chew them. Picks up random things to pack around and show off.
Not fence jumper, though she has the athletic skills to clear a six foot fence easily, she is not interested in leaving her people.

Trinity is a prime candidate for training with a balanced dog trainer who will work WITH her owner and her, at the same time. She is not a big fan of other animals but keep her mind occupied and give her boundaries, rules and consequences and she is your number one student. She can be muzzled, for everyone's peace of mind if needed but with concentrated training, she will overcome her lack of early puppyhood socialization skills.

Want to get into search and rescue work? Need to add some security to your private life? Know a police department looking for a drug sniffer? This girl is ready willing and able.

Like most dogs of this breeding, Trinity does not like to be out of sight of her people. With balanced training and building her confidence, this could change but applicants should be prepared for a velcro dog of the highest order. She can be left alone in the home, without issue for short periods of time, but hates crates and should not be put in one, when you are away.

So basically, the nuts and bolts of it is...she is a Belgian Malinois and has every trait, good and bad, that go with the breed's genetics. If you love them, she is amazing. If you don't like to be constantly adored, pestered to play, are away from home for hours and hours every day, don't get out for adventures much, prefer watching TV over hiking and adventure...this girl and this breed are NOT for you but if an absolutely loyal, ever ready, intelligent, quick learning, stunningly beautiful, incredibly athletic, friendship is what makes your engine roar, you need to apply for this girl and keep her training going in the right direction.

Trinity is spayed, up to date on five way and rabies vaccinations, microchipped, and fecal checked/treated for intestinal parasites. She will come with her DNA paperwork stating her 100% Belgian Malinois genetics as well.
