TREASURE's Story
Treasure is a 2-year-old, gentle, goofy, treat-burying sweetheart who has truly blossomed in her foster home. Once a shy dog who needed time to trust, Treasure has shown her foster just how loving, quirky, and joyful she really is.

According to the foster, Treasure loves being outdoors, spending her days sunbathing, exploring, and—most famously—burying her milk bones in the yard using only her nose. She proudly looks up afterward with her “dirty little snoot,” checking to see if anyone noticed her secret stash. She’s also a water-loving girl, happily hopping into the kiddie pool or splashing in the creek.

When she’s excited to see you, Treasure does a full-body “happy dance”, showing off her sweet personality. She enjoys rolling in the mud, learning how to play fetch, and soaking up calm snuggle time when the day winds down.

Treasure is still learning the art of being alone—she does best when she can see her foster dog sisters and she feels safest when crated if left solo. Treasure's foster also had a cat that she did well with. Inside the home, she is affectionate, playful, and eager to bond. With strangers, she may take a moment to warm up, but once she decides someone is safe, she approaches gently and accepts pets with ease.

If you’re looking for a dog with heart, humor, and heaps of potential, Treasure is ready to be your loyal companion. She flourishes with patience, routine, and love—and she’ll repay you with wiggles, sweetness, and a lifetime of muddy-nosed memories.

Treasure is available for adoption now and can’t wait to meet her forever family!
