YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO MEET OUR PETS.<br/><br/>Travis is a sweet nine month old puppy who showed up as a stray with his sister a couple of months ago at a kind family’s home and they took them in with the goal of finding them both great forever homes. They do not need to be adopted together.<br/><br/>He has had his first shots and deworming and will be neutered before adoption.<br/><br/>Travis is very, very cuddly and wants nothing more than attention and kisses. <br/><br/>He gets very excited to see you and can jump sometimes but he’s learning to sit when he wants attention. <br/><br/>Travis will throw himself on the ground stomach up and pose if he is not getting enough attention. It is so silly, he will lay like that until he gets petted!! He also will very gently sit down and put his paw on your leg when he wants to be petted.<br/><br/>He is currently being leash trained and picking up on it well. He is doing very well with his house training, almost there!<br/><br/>He loves to sleep cuddled up with you or with the other dogs on dog beds. <br/><br/>He adores stuffed toys and bones and loves to play fetch with balls. He enjoys having a large variety of toys! He will run around with a toy in his mouth and loves to play tug with the other resident dogs.<br/><br/>He is pretty quiet unless left alone then he will cry for a little bit and then settle. He does not bark at UPS or Amazon trucks.<br/><br/>He is not fully crate trained yet but they do use the crate for meals and when they leave the house. <br/><br/>Travis is the sweetest and most cuddly dog his foster mom has ever met and as soon as you sit on the couch he is on your lap ready for scratches. <br/><br/>Adoption donation $150<br/><br/>Please note that we do not ship animals. We also require a home visit before finalizing any adoptions so preference is given to applicants within a 90 mile range. You will be required to come to High Point, NC to meet/pick up your new pet.<br/><br/>HOW TO APPLY:<br/><br/>1. Go to www.lppnc.org<br/>2. Click on the "Adoption Application" link on the left side of the page.<br/>3. The application will open as a PDF and you should have the ability to fill it in from that page. Be sure to complete all fields.<br/>4. Save the application to your computer, then attach in an email and send to petprojectnc@gmail.com<br/>5. Someone will review your application as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours, and will be in touch with next steps.
