Meet Travis!<br/><br/>Travis is a handsome and loveable 4 year old pit mix. He is house and crate trained. Travis loves his super chewer toys and enjoys playing in the play yards. He enjoys walks with staff and volunteers and is an excellent snuggle buddy.<br/>Travis walks very well on leash and knows basic commands.<br/><br/>Travis was adopted in 2022 and, through no fault of his own was returned to us in the Summer of 2024. Travis sadly got into some craft supplies and ate something causing a blockage and needed to have emergency surgery. After this his new owners could no longer care for him so the hard decision to return him to the shelter was made.<br/><br/>Travis has lived with cats and children in the past, he did live in a home with another dog but they kept him separate. He would do best as the only dog in the home. When Travis was returned to us he was underweight, after putting him on a special diet he has filled out nicely.
