My name is Train and I’m looking for a soft place to land ?. My sweet elderly dad has to move and sadly, I can’t go with him. He rescued me after my former owner passed away — I had been living outside in a pen. He gave me love, and now RescueConnect is trying to help me find a new family or foster to keep me safe and happy.<br/><br/>I’m about 12 or 13 years old and weigh around 70 lbs of pure love. I’m a laid-back, gentle guy who enjoys:<br/><br/>Naps in the sun<br/><br/>Hanging with other dogs (and I’m cool with cats too!)<br/><br/>Going on easygoing walks<br/><br/>Being sweet and calm around children<br/><br/>I’m crate trained, easygoing, and recently finished heartworm treatment — I’ve already tested negative and am feeling great! <br/><br/>I really am the best boy — friendly, gentle, and just looking for love.
