Tracker's Story

Tracker is now about six months old. He weighs 44 lbs and grows more every day. We believe him to be a hound mix but his gorgeously blocky head looks more Great Dane. He should be a large dog when he grows up. His pretty white with black coloring gives him quite the distinguished look.
Tracker spent 30 days at a local shelter before entering foster care. Despite the shelter stay, he maintains a sunny, carefree demeanor and a heart full of trust and affection. Tracker is happy, carefree, and friendly; loves people; sociable with other dogs and even cats in foster care.
While not yet house trained Tracker is crate trained; comes when called; tends to stay close to foster mom when outside. He's just a big puppy who enjoys chewing bones, digging holes, and all the classic puppy shenanigans.
Tracker is a goofy, loving pup who bonds quickly with his people and is eager to explore his world. With continued training and a loving forever home, Tracker is sure to flourish into a loyal, joyful companion.

You can email maryhsow@gmail.com with any questions or fill out an application here: https://humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application. To ensure your application was please email the foster home. You can expect an email response within a week of applying.
