Meet Townsend! Townsend is a big ball of love and energy and he is looking for a home to keep up with him. He was transferred to us after a fresh neuter surgery, which he is having some complications from. He is quite the cone-of-shame escape artist. For the near future, he will need attentive monitoring to ensure he does not mess with his incision and a family willing to have some follow up appointments to check in on it. When he isn't in a cone, Townsend loves being with people and will take all the chin scratches you could offer. We have seen him get along with children quite well, and we think he would be a wonderful family pup. While he has done well in the shelter with other dogs, we were told that he does not do well with cats. If Townsend seems like the kind of dog you're looking to bring into your family, come meet him at the shelter from Wed.-Sun. 1-6pm.
