Toro's Story

Toro is a 6 month old mixed breed who was brought to MCHS alongside his sister. Toro is a big baby who loves to play. He is exceptionally curious, and highly enjoys taking in the sights and smells of the world around him. Toro is also very friendly, and loves greeting visitors from behind the front desk. He has done well with everyone who says hello to him, children and adults alike. Toro's excitement to greet people often leads to him giving big hugs, so be prepared if you come by and say hi! Toro would do best in a home with people who are experienced dog owners, who can keep up with his zest for living life to the fullest. Toro's adoption fee is $200.00.

Mendocino Coast Humane Society's Adoption Policy

Through our Adoptions Program, we offer a variety of wonderful animals who are deserving of a loving, responsible home. Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, de-worming, flea treatment, as well as heartworm, feline leukemia and FIV testing. In addition to being open Monday through Saturday, we also extend our adoption programs reach with our Mobile Pet Adoptions van, which enables us to go into our community with adoptable animals in Mendocino as well as Fort Bragg. We also feature an adoptable animal weekly on Skunk Radio and in local newspapers. We want you! MCHS is always looking for volunteers.
