We would love for them to stay together, as they have been inseparable for Tisa's entire life.<br/><br/> Tori Lyn — 9 years old, 10.4 lbs, red Chihuahua<br/> Tisa Kay — 3 years old, 12.4 lbs, blonde Dachshund/Chihuahua mix<br/><br/>These two girls belonged to our beloved sweet mother who raised them from puppies. They were her constant companions and rarely left her lap while she sat in her recliner. They slept beside her every night and were always there to keep her company.<br/><br/>Honestly, I believe these two little dogs gave her the companionship and comfort that helped her live independently for as long as she did. They weren't just pets—they were her little family.<br/><br/>Tori and Tisa are sweet, loving lap dogs who enjoy being around people. They do not do so well with other dogs (Tori can be a little spicy); they have lived peacefully with our two cats. They may be tiny, but they definitely think they're tough girls! <br/><br/>They are:<br/>* Very bonded to each other;<br/>* Not great with other dogs (mostly Tori);<br/>* Good with cats;<br/>* Current on their yearly vaccinations;<br/>* On monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention;<br/>* Potty-pad trained and also routinely go outside;<br/>* Accustomed to sleeping together in their own kennel at night, with cozy cat beds inside;<br/>* HUGE fans of milk bones (Tori especially loves to guard hers in her bed for hours);<br/>* Great with kids and people! (Tia is the social butterfly; Tori can be a little shy!).<br/><br/>They have spent their lives being loved, cuddled, and spoiled, and we want nothing less for them going forward. What they need now is simply a new lap to sit on, someone to keep company, and a family who will love them for the rest of their lives. We are looking for a loving, stable, permanent home for both girls together. They deserve to spend the rest of their lives feeling safe and cherished, just as they have always been.<br/><br/>There is a reasonable rehoming fee, and we will ask questions to ensure they go to the right home.<br/><br/>If you or someone you know may be the perfect family for Tori and Tisa, please reach out!
