Meet Toretto! A 5-year-old Heeler with a gentle soul and the biggest heart. <br/><br/>Toretto may be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he learns you're safe and kind, he becomes the sweetest, gentlest sidekick you could ask for. He's the kind of dog who just wants to be near his person, hanging out on the porch, following you around while you do chores, going for a quiet walk, or simply relaxing around the house together.<br/><br/>Toretto gets along well with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats (truthfully... he's a little more scared of them than anything). We think his ideal home would be one looking for a loyal buddy to simply do life with.<br/><br/>When Toretto came to us, he had a severe injury on his head that was badly infected and required veterinary care. Because of how flinchy and shut down he can be at times, we suspect he may not have always been shown kindness in his past. But despite everything, this sweet boy still wants love, and he deserves a happy ending.<br/><br/>Toretto walks well on a leash, loves treats, and has the sweetest personality once he trusts you.
