Tony-Adopted!

Tony has successfully started his heartworm treatment and is looking for his new home or someone nice that can foster him for awhile...Please come and meet him Saturday.<P><br/><br/>Tony is 4-5 years old and very sweet. He only weighs 18 pounds. He likes other dogs and is ok with cats if they don't run as he will take up the challenge and chase them.<P><br/>Tony came from a local shelter where he patiently waited for a rescue to take him in as he is Heartworm Positive and the treatment isn't something a shelter normally handles....the shelter staff thought he was so sweet, they knew someone would want to love him. We have had great success in treating and curing Heartworm. He had his treatment at the Fowlerville Vet 4/28/06 and is doing great.<P><br/>He is looking for a nice quiet foster home where he can recover in the next month or so. He must stay quiet while the medicine is working.....so no running with other dogs (or people) <P><br/>If you had considered fostering (or adopting) this just might be the dog to start with!! He is already neutered and has had his Rabies and Distemper shots. Please email or call us and tell us about yourself and if you would like to help Tony.<P><br/>He won't be at Meet Your Best Friend at Zoo because it will not be a quiet event with 100's of animals there...but you can check out our other animals...or ask about fostering and/or adopting Tony.
