Tonti's Story

This adorable black toy poodle girl was found as a stray, but you’d never know it—she’s such a happy, playful, and loving little sweetheart! Estimated to be about 3 years old and weighing around 11 pounds, Tonti is full of life and ready to find a forever family to call her own.
She’ll need a home with a secure fenced yard and a good veterinary reference to ensure she stays safe and cared for.

She is heart worm positive, and our rescue is treating her.

All our pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated including rabies, given de-wormer, heartworm negative or being treated with the slow kill method approved by our veterinarian, on prevention, on flea/tick prevention, most are house trained. The majority but not all of our pets require a fence. Experienced pet home with verifiable vet references/history preferred, but we realize that everyone has to start somewhere, so all applications will be considered. We adopt within 300 miles of New Orleans/Baton Rouge, La and we do not ship or transport--Adoption fee $300. Email us at creolepoodlerescue@yahoo.com to get an adoption application.
