My name is Tonka and I'm the newest eligible bachelor here at IDGSR. I am located near Nashville TN and will travel to find my forever love!<br/><br/>Quick Facts<br/>Age: 1yr old<br/>Kids: would do fine with older kids (10+)<br/>Dogs: good with large breed dogs<br/>Cats: NO cats<br/>Training: needs standard obedience training<br/><br/>1. I was out wandering the streets on my own, kinda lost, when some nice people brought me inside. Thankfully they started my vetting & transferred me to the best rescue!<br/><br/>2. For a 1yr old boy, I'm pretty quiet & laid back. While I do enjoy a good romp around the yard with a lady doggo, I much prefer to stick close to my hooman.<br/><br/>3. I'm a smart guy and am eager to learn new things. Will you paw-promise to train me in obedience? Let's prove to your nosey neighbor Nancy that you have the most well trained dog on the block!<br/><br/>4. When the weather warms up, I would love to go on some hikes, take walks in the neighborhood, chase waterfalls, and do all sorts of fun outdoor activities! <br/><br/>5. I would make a great cuddle buddy, sous chef in the kitchen, action or Hallmark movie companion, and assistant landscaper in the yard.<br/><br/>6. If you are looking for a young, handsome, friendly, smart, and loyal new doggo - I'm your guy!<br/><br/>**SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait**<br/>**************<br/><br/>***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***<br/>-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted<br/>-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply<br/>-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered<br/>-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter<br/>-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog<br/>-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY<br/>-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications<br/>-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time<br/>-Not able to adopt?
