Meet TONKA BUD! He is 3 years old as of March, 2024. We think he’s a lab mix! That’s our best guess! TONKA BUD’s story is heartwarming! His foster was at the beach feeding stray dogs, when he ran up to her. He was starving. His ribs were visible. She left him food and water. While she was driving away, she looked in the rearview mirror and saw TONKA BUD chasing her car. At that point, she realized she couldn’t leave him. So, she rescued him but in essence, he rescued himself. Today, he’s a very happy dog. His foster mom reports that he’s loving and healthy, with a funny personality. She calls him her “circus dog”. He’s funny and loves to play. He loves to walk on his hind legs! He’s quite a character. He loves to smile, so you will enjoy taking pictures of him. Message us or apply if interested!
