Tonka's Story

Hi, I'm Tonka! I was saved from the euthanization list at the Houston shelter. I am as sweet as can be, I just love LOVE! My owner wasn't very kind to dump me at the shelter, I promised to be the best girl, but they didn't care enough about me. I didn't let that put me down though because I greet everyone with affection! I promise to continue to be a sweet girl, will you help me find my forever home?

Embark Empathy's Adoption Policy

First, the potential adopter would need to fill out an adoption application. Then we would schedule a call to discuss everything in detail including the pet of interest and the environment. After this, we would schedule a meet and greet if the potential adopter is local and if not, then a video call for them to see the pet. If all goes well, then we would proceed with the adoption, they sign the necessary forms and provide the adoption fee and then we would transfer the pet to them.
