Toni's Story

Toni is 10 yrs old, spayed, UTD vax. She loves everything and everyone. She has been diagnosed with a grade 5/6 heart murmur and collapsing trachea and has been prescribed medications and is doing well. She’s an extremely easygoing dog that was unfortunately found on the street all alone where found herself in a high kill animal shelter. Toni would be a great addition to any home. She needs someone to love her and she will give that love back 10 fold.

Christina's Animal Safe Haven, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

An adopter fills out an application. The application is processed completely and if it seems to be a good home, We will visit the home to view the environment the pet will be living in. If that passes inspection, we will set up a meet and greet so the adopters entire family meets the pet. If there are any other pets in the home, they will also meet the prospective new pet. If all goes well the adopters will complete the adoption agreement and they can take the pet home. If for any reason the adoption does not work out, we will take the pet back into our care which is part of the adoption agreement.

To house special needs and senior pets. To care for them both emotionally and medically until they can find the right home. Our goal is for them to live in a home environment and not in a cage at a shelter. If the right home never happens, we will care for them for the rest of their lives.
