Little Tommy Chihuahua, age 4, 5.8 lbs., was hit by a car on Nov. 16. His shoulder bone was outside his body for nearly a week. Our rescue heard about him and rushed him to the vet where it was determined that his leg required amputation. He is such a fighter and a champ. The vet said he is the bravest boy he has ever seen. In addition to being brave, Tommy is also the sweetest, most perfect boy you could ever want. He loves kids, loves other dogs, and never barks. He has the best temperament, even after five days of horrible pain before his surgery, he was in good spirits. He walked 3 hours after his surgery! He is just an all around amazing boy.
