Tomaso

Tomaso is a handsome, treat-loving guy who came to us after hopping into a stranger's car looking for help. He is energetic, goofy, and full of personality, and once he is in a calm space he becomes a total snuggler who loves stuffed toys, car rides, and being close to his person.<br/><br/>Outside he can get very excited and is strong on leash, especially when he sees squirrels or other dogs. He seems to have a bit of a prey drive, so should probably not live with cats or small animals at this time. He has had mixed interactions with dogs and may do best as the only dog or with very slow, experienced introductions.<br/><br/>In the home he settles well, takes treats gently, and is mostly house trained with just occasional reminders. He does great one on one and thrives in a quieter household with someone confident handling a strong, enthusiastic dog.
