Tom the Pom

Tom is an approximate 1 year old Pomeranian mix weighing 20 pounds. Tom is a fun, SMART, friendly and silly little poof of a guy that has become a staff favorite. Tom loves people, but is uncomfortable with invasive handling (such as vet visits). He does very well in obedience class at the ranch and loves training- he's very food motivated. He likes learning new things and would thrive with someone that has the time to teach him tricks and attend classes. Tom does think it's super fun to chase kitties, but may do well in a home with a playful female dog.<br/>Although Tom is a friendly guy, due to his handling sensitivities, we do not recommend Tom to a household with small children.<br/><br/>All of our animals are up to date on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have had a physical exam. At adoption we provide: veterinary records and vaccine certificates, castration certificate, lifetime lost animal support, one month’s worth of flea medication and heartworm medication, one week’s worth of food, a leash, a collar, an ID tag, and a familiar toy or blanket to help them settle in.
