Togi's Story

Meet Cain! Three Legs, One HUGE Heart!

Cain’s story is one of resilience, courage, and a whole lot of personality!

This sweet boy got his leg caught under a fence while trying to play with the other dogs underneath it. Sadly, the damage was too severe, and we had to make the difficult decision to amputate his leg. But Cain didn’t let that stop him! He’s still the same happy, playful, goofy boy, ready to take on the world. Sometimes life changes your plans, but Cain is busy proving that it certainly doesn’t have to change your spirit.

And what a personality this boy has!

Fetch? Absolutely! Cain loves a good game and is always ready for fun.

Water lover? You bet! Whether it’s a lake, a kiddie pool, or a chance to splash around, Cain is ready to make a day of it!

Adventure buddy? Sign him up! He loves walks, hikes, and exploring the world one sniff at a time.

Cuddle champion? Without a doubt! Cain is a hugger, and his warm, affectionate nature will make you feel like the most loved person in the world.

Cain is smart, curious, playful, and wonderfully goofy. He has a way of making people laugh with his antics, and his sweet, gentle personality makes him a joy to be around. He loves people and is ready to give his heart to a family of his own.

His missing leg is just one small part of his story. It doesn’t define who he is, and it certainly hasn’t taken away his zest for life!

Cain is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations, so he’s ready to start his next chapter.

Cain is looking for a forever family who will see the amazing dog he is, not the leg he lost. He has so much love to give, so many adventures left to enjoy, and plenty of hugs waiting for someone special.

Could that someone be you?

Give Cain a chance, and you just might discover that the best things in life come with four paws... or three!

We require an application. If the application is approved then we have the potential owner send us a quick video of their yard, fences and introduction to themselves. If all looks good we drive the dog on a Saturday to the prospective home for a meet and greet and in person home check. If all looks good they sign a contract, get a goody bag and the dog. We then take a picture for future reference in case we get a call to return a dog.
