Tofu

Tofu did really great over a long weekend away. He showed many of his strengths and innate charm, including his bravery and adaptability to many environments, his affection for every person or dog he met (everyone is a potential friend in his eyes), and his ability to switch between being active and adventurous, to enjoying quiet time, snuggles and couch time. He's a real cuddler and likes sleeping in the bed with humans or on a soft and fluffy bed of his own nearby. He enjoyed several walks and outings to the pet store and a coffee shop, where he showed his great social skills with a wide range of people and happiness to be included! He appeared to be motivated to learn basic commands with positive reinforcement and pacing, e.g. he responded pretty well to learning "sit" when offered a small treat and praise for his success. He did well in car rides, including liking to look out the window or taking the opportunity for a little nap. He showed encouraging signs of being very trainable in his house skills, including being mostly potty trained. He's a very affectionate dog who will make someone's home feel complete!
