She’s a little unsure in her new kennel with all the unfamiliar noises and people, but she’s staying hopeful that her humans are on their way. Toffee is a lovable pibble with a gentle heart. She recently met a new canine friend here at the shelter and did GREAT! There was lots of mutual sniffing, a little running around, and—honestly—she seemed much more interested in finding the perfect potty spot. (Hey... when you’ve gotta go, you’ve gotta go! ??) Based on how urgently she goes when she exits her kennel — and how neatly she keeps her space — we believe she may be housebroken too! ?? Iredell County Animal Services & Control Department's Adoption Policy

The adoption fee for our dogs and puppies is $80.00. This includes the cost of the spay or neuter, the microchip, the first rabies vaccination, the first distemper/parvo vaccination and being de-wormed. The adoption fee for our cats and kittens is $65.00. This includes the cost of the spay or neuter, the first rabies vaccination, the first distemper/upper respiratory combo vaccination and being de-wormed. Occassionally, we have other domestic pets for adoption as well, including (but not limited to) hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, goats and horses. Please check for availability of these animals. Our address is 430 Bristol Dr., Statesville, NC 28677. Take I-40 to exit # 148 and go South on Garner Bagnal Blvd. When you are at the light in front of Kewaunee Scientific, turn right onto Bristol Dr. We are approximately 1/4 mile down on the right behind the Iredell County Agriculture Department. Our visiting hours are from 10:30 am

We have a rabies clinic on the 2nd Tuesday night of every month from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. If your pet has a current rabies vaccination, bring written proof and it can get a 3 year booster vaccination.
