Todd's Story

Todd has come a long way during his months spent in a loving foster home! He’s settled into a comfy home routine, figured out how to ask for snuggles (and snacks), and even developed a taste for the finer things like fluffy blankets and air conditioning. He’s great in the house, reliably potty trained, and shows off his impulse control with an impressive "wait" at mealtime—even if it means drooling a little.

While Todd still has some spooky quirks (lights, shadows, and rogue cardboard boxes are suspicious), he’s become more confident every day. Walks are a work in progress, but he loves them, and with patience, time, and maybe a secure yard for now, he’ll keep learning. He adores other dogs, has excellent recall, and is learning to love grooming. Todd is a unique, sensitive soul who will thrive with a patient person and a canine companion to help show him the way.

All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!

To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.

About Us: Cincinnati Animal CARE proudly serves Hamilton County’s humane society needs, dog warden, and animal control services. We help keep people and pets together and connect strays with future families.
