Todd's Story

A Big Goofball with a Bigger Heart! Our boy Todd would really like to find a foster or forever home soon.

Todd is a 4 year old Husky with a zest for life and a smile that could light up the darkest days! This playful boy came to us as a stray, and while his past remains a mystery, his bright personality shines through. Whether he's sprinting around our off-leash play area or learning the ropes of running beside a bike, Todd is always up for an adventure. When the fun winds down, he shows his softer side--snuggling on the couch or in his kennel with staff who adore him.

The Progress of a Determined Pup:
When Todd first arrived at the shelter, he didn't know how to interact with other dogs in a friendly way. His reactivity made socialization a challenge. But Todd has been working hard, and we're so proud of how far he's come! While he can still be vocal and excitable, he's learning that not every encounter has to be a dramatic one. He's even made a few select walking buddies, happily strolling side by side without issue.

Todd still has work to do when it comes to meeting new dogs, but his progress gives us hope that, with the right guidance, he could continue improving in a patient, understanding home. For now, he's looking for a family that can manage his size and energy, support his training, and focus on setting him up for success in his interactions.

Todd's Ideal Home:
This 70+ pound boy is looking for an active, loving home that understands his needs. Todd thrives with structure and would do best as the only pet in a household without young kids. He's a quick learner who's eager to please, and with continued training and confidence-building, he'll become the best version of himself.

Todd has been waiting a while for his perfect match. Could you be the one to show him the love and stability he deserves? Fostering or adopting Todd will give this sweet, goofy boy the chance to shine--and he'll reward you with endless smiles, snuggles, and adventures!
