Toby is 3 years old, he is a silver lab mix and weighs about 50 lbs. He is very sweet and submissive with people. He is house trained and crate trained and he walks great on a leash. He is a smart boy and knows basic commands and listens well.<br/><br/>Toby was raised with a golden retriever but was never socialized with other dogs. He shows fear aggression when they approach him. He seems to calm down and accept them after he’s been around them for a while. His ideal home would be with no other dogs or a very experienced owner that knows how to do a slow introduction. <br/><br/>Adoption fee: $585<br/><br/>**This is an Out Of Town listing. We transport every 2-3 weeks.<br/>We facilitate adoptions through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT, and NY. Our dogs travel in comfort with 24/7 care. We have been facilitating long distance adoptions since 2019.<br/><br/>***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible. ***<br/><br/>We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents
