Toby's Story

He is a low rider with a big loveable personality. He spent 18 months in a rural pound after being found as a stray at just about 6 months old. His foster mom saw something special in him and wanted to get this boy ready to live the good life in a home with a family. Toby is housebroken & crate trained. He was found to be heartworm positive the rescue took care of that and he has completed his treatment. He has been working hard on leash skills and teamed up with his foster mom’s grand pup to get it done. Toby can be a little shy when 1st meeting people so we go with a slow approach to introduce him, but then he's a huggable, snuggable love bug. Toby does well with other dogs and we are not sure yet on cats. He does ok with considerate kids that have some dog experience. Toby is a pretty quiet boy that just loves to be with his human companions and be loved. He is motivated by treats and willing to learn all he can and he loves rides in the car. Toby is hoping to find his family that will help him increase his socialization skills and give him the love of a family he deserves so much. Are you that family willing to give him that chance he's been dreaming of.

Toby’s adoption fee is $400.00 This includes age appropriate vaccines, microchip and completed vetting. .

*HWMAR presents the information in these bios based on our foster observations and any information presented to us regarding prior living conditions, breed specifications.
