Toby came into our care after retiring from life as a hunting dog. He's about two years old and has never lived indoors before. He is very friendly, playful, and outgoing. He will need someone willing to work with him on house training, which means he will need to be in a crate when unsupervised and taken out every 2 - 3 hours, just like you would with a puppy. He doesn't have any accidents as long as he gets to go outside frequently. He loves to go for walks so he can sniff and explore. We were told he is used to being around dogs, cats, chickens, and kids. All adoption meetings are by appointment.<br/><br/>Our dog adoption fee is $450 for dogs aged seven months to seven years old, and $250 for dogs aged eight years and older. Every dog we place receives age-appropriate vaccines, is treated for worms, ticks, and fleas, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and spayed or neutered before adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash. Please fill out the adoption application if you would like to be considered for a dog in our care.<br/><br/>With few exceptions, dogs are happiest and well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families willing to commit to both.
