Toby's Story

Toby is a happy and friendly 3-year-old pittie mix who weighs about 60 lbs. Originally from Texas, Toby was found as a stray and sadly spent over a year waiting in a shelter before making his big move to his foster home Oregon this past July. Since then, life has been full of new adventures and firsts for him—and he’s proving what a resilient, loving boy he truly is.

Toby is a people-lover through and through. He’s happiest when he’s by your side 24/7, and his favorite place to be is snuggled up close, especially at night. He hasn’t met a person—child or adult—that he doesn’t adore. With his gentle, affectionate nature, Toby will melt your heart in no time.

Playtime is another one of Toby’s joys! He’s a big fan of toys and absolutely loves squeaky balls. He is housetrained and kennel trained.

When it comes to other dogs, Toby can be a bit selective. He takes his cues from them: if they’re calm and friendly, he’s happy to return the favor. If they’re pushy or aggressive, he’ll respond in kind. Because of this, Toby would do best with a mellow, submissive female dog—or as your one-and-only pup. Toby does have a tendency to chase cats, so a feline-free home is a must.

After all he’s been through, Toby is ready for a forever home where he’ll be loved, cherished, and included in all of life’s moments. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with love, cuddles, and plenty of squeaky-ball fun, Toby is your guy!

Please complete an application on our website at WWW.RTHRS.com
