Toby's Story
Toby is a young, energetic, people loving, dog friendly boy who, not due to any fault of his own, is in need of a new home that is able to provide for him and give him the daily exercise and play time to get all those zoomies out! At just a year old he is a sweet, happy boy with a lot of puppy energy and curiosity in him. He loves to romp and play and would do well with a canine sibling to play with. He is smart and eager to learn and has had some training already. He is crate trained, sleeps well in his crate, comes when called and knows sit, stay, wait, and down. He is fairly good on a leash and pretty good at fetch too! Toby presently lives with one cat which he gets along with, but he can sometimes be bit too playful for his feline friend as he likes to chase the cat if it runs away. Toby loves meeting new people too, so he is still learning not to jump up to greet people in his excitement. He is definitely calmer after visitors settle in and after he has had a good run outdoors! If you are interested in meeting Toby or interested in fostering, adopting, or fostering to adopt him, please contact Village for Paws Rescue at villageforpawsrescue@gmail.com for more information and to fill out an application.
