Meet Toby — a shy little guy with a big heart<br/><br/>Toby may be a bit timid at first, but give him a little time and he’ll surprise you with his playful, goofy side. He was found wandering the streets of Parlier, just a baby trying to figure out the world on his own. Now, at around 7 months old, he’s getting a second chance — and he’s ready to bloom in a home of his own<br/><br/>Toby loves rolling in the grass, splashing in the water, and goofing around with his doggy buddies. He’s crate trained (almost a pro!) and totally food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. He may not realize how big he’s getting, but that just adds to his endearing charm.<br/><br/>Through the PAWs to Prison program, Toby has learned an impressive list of commands including: loose leash walking, “watch me,” "stay", "come", "sit", "down", "heel", "bed", "kennel", "paw", "back", “go visit,” "in", “leave it,” “get it,” "yes", "wait", “jump on,” and “jump off.”<br/><br/>Toby is a sweet, friendly boy with a heart of gold. Once he gets to know you, his gentle nature shines—he truly doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. After you’ve built a bond, Toby will love you unconditionally.<br/><br/>He’s an active pup who enjoys running, playing tug and fetch, soaking up the sun, and spending time with other dogs. But more than anything, Toby adores being petted and cuddled.
