Toby is a 2-year-old Boxer mix who's on the shorter side, weighing 51 lbs - he's the perfect "just right" size! He's fully vetted, dog-friendly, and absolutely adores kids and people. He's an incredibly sweet boy who loves giving hugs and will happily brighten your day with his playful, energetic spirit.<br/>Cats? Well... Toby thinks they're fun to chase , so a home without them would be best (though we don't think he would hurt them). Because he's also a bit of an escape artist, his adoption does require a fenced-in yard to keep his adventurous side safe.<br/>Toby is everything you could want in a best friend - happy, loving, and so ready to give his heart away to the family he's been waiting so patiently for.

At Journey’s Legacy Rescue, our goal is to match every dog with the perfect forever home. To ensure the best fit for both our dogs and adopters, we follow a structured adoption process: 1. Submit an Application The first step is to complete our adoption application. This helps us learn more about you, your household, and what you’re looking for in a companion. 2. Application Review Once your application is reviewed, our team will contact you if you are approved to move forward. 3. Meet & Greet If approved, we will help you set up a meet-and-greet with the dog you are interested in. This allows you to interact with the dog and make sure it feels like the right fit. 4. Finalize Adoption If the meet-and-greet goes well, you will choose a day to bring your new family member home. At that time, you will: Sign the adoption contract Pay the adoption fee. Transport fee of up to $200 applies to areas if more than a 2-hour drive dependent on the distance. From there, your new best friend will officially become part of your family! ???
