Toby's Story

Toby & his 3 siblings were found dumped on a country back road in Lee County VA. Their shelter is very full and euthanizing for space so the finder held onto them for the almost 3 weeks it took for a rescue (us) to step up and save them! And we are so so happy we said yes to these hound babies - even though we are a pit bull rescue! Because they are by far some of the best babies we have in rescue!!!<br/>Toby is such a sweetheart! He loves to be near his people & is a class A snuggler. He entertains himself easily with a toy or chew bone. Toby loves to play with the other puppy & dogs in the foster home. He loves everyone he meets & has never met a stranger! He is crate trained and also house trained. <br/>Toby is a great puppy!<br/>His adoption fee is $375 and includes age appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip and neuter. The adoption process can take anywhere from one to several weeks. Please be patient as we volunteer our time & with the large number of animals in need we may not be able to respond the same day. We do our best to respond to all emails in a timely manner!  Once we have your completed application, our adoption coordinator will schedule a phone interview with you. Next we will speak with the references you listed & your current veterinarian to verify all animals in the home are up to date on vaccinations & preventatives. **RENTERS** PLEASE verify with your landlord or management company you are allowed to have a dog AND that there are NO BREED RESTR
