Toast's Story
Toast is a 3–4-year-old girl who came to us as a stray, and she's been a sweetheart ever since. This funny girl has a huge personality and an even bigger love for life. One of her favorite things? Tennis balls. Toss one her way and you'll instantly become her favorite person. She also absolutely adores attention from humans and thrives on spending time with her people. Toast does need to be the only pet in the home, as she is reactive toward other dogs. However, she is an incredibly smart dog who enjoys learning. She has already been making great progress with redirecting her focus back on her handler when passing other dogs on walks, and she continues o show just how much potential she has. Toast would do best with an adopter who is committed to continuing her training and giving her the structure and consistency she needs to succeed. She would make an amazing companion for someone who enjoys long walks, staying active, and building strong bonds with their dog.

Please copy and paste the link below to fill out our Matchmaker Adoption Application so we may arrange a meet and greet for you!

https://www.brookhavenny.gov/152/Animal-Shelter
