Toast's Story
Toast is a spitfire gal with a heart of gold.

Though timid at first, Toast is a snuggly, smart, sassy wildchild. She is currently recovering from ACL Surgery, and dreaming of her forever home.

About Toast:
- love to cuddle
- Is learning basic manners, impulse control, and socialization
- loves other dogs, but can be a bit pushy with more submissive dogs
- Good with cats
- Nervous of new people, but warms up with proper introductions
- Housetrained, crate trained, and learning leash skills.
- High drive, high energy. Would do best in an active home, or with someone who will give her a job.
- Is currently recovering from ACL surgery, and will not be available for adoption until at least 6 weeks post-op (Oct. 27th).

The adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue's care.
We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.northernlakesrescue.org
