TOAD's Story

Toad is young, energetic, and full of life. He’s truly one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever meet and greets everyone like they’re his new best friend. Sweet, affectionate, and loving, Toad thrives on human attention and is always ready to share kisses and tail wags.

Because he’s still a youngster, Toad is continuing to work on his manners. He’s enthusiastic and rambunctious, so he would do best in a home with no young children or older teenagers who can help reinforce positive training. With patience, consistency, and love, Toad has all the potential to grow into a wonderfully well-mannered companion.

Toad absolutely loves other dogs—especially ones that match his high energy level! Running, wrestling, and playtime with canine friends are some of his favorite things. Due to his playful and boisterous nature, a home without cats is recommended.

This happy guy would thrive with an active family and a yard where he can run and burn off energy, along with adopters who are committed to continuing his training and helping him be the best dog he can be.

If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate, fun-loving dog who will keep you smiling and moving, Toad might just be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is SPONSORED
