Titan 's Story

Hi! My name is Titan. I am a 2.5 yr old herding "mutt" (cattle dog, border collie, terrier and a few other things thrown). I have been waiting patiently for my furever home. I'm not sure why people overlook me...maybe it is because I'm mostly black? Maybe it is because I'm not a full-blooded herding dog? It makes me so sad...because I am a really good boy. I have a moderate energy level. A daily walk and weekend hikes is really all I need. Then I am content to just lay by your feet and hang out with you. I walk like a perfect gentleman on a leash. I know several tricks (and would love to learn more). I get along with cats but I can be a little picky when it comes to my dog friends. I do like the girls...but some boy dogs rub me the wrong way...so a home without male dogs would be best. I am neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on my vaccinations. Herding Haven rescues herding dogs from shelters where they have been deemed "unadaptable" due to physical, medical or behavioral issues (or sometimes just because the shelter is out of space). We place them in foster homes, rehabilitate them and then find them "forever" homes.
