Tira's Story
Tira is a sweet, playful, and affectionate pup ready to bring fun and excitement to your life. True to heeler form, Tira is curious, smart, and a quick learner.

She’s had a rough start in life. At only 6 months old, she found herself in a large shelter with a broken leg and no owner coming for her. The break was several weeks old and on a growth plate that was already healing itself. After consultations with her vet and an orthopedic surgeon, it was decided to let her keep healing on her own. She may have a slight hitch in her giddy up, but will otherwise be a happy, fully mobile dog.

She is still just a baby, and she has a lot to learn and experience. We would like her adopter to commit to providing her with the guidance, socialization, and activity needed to help her continue to grow into a great dog.

Tira is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Tira is small now, but we think she will grow to be about 35 pounds. She has a docked tail.
