Tipper's Story

My name is Tipper and I am a mixture of quite a few breeds. My mother has the coloring of an Irish Setter, and she can make her head wrinkle like a Sharpe. If you look at my litter, it looks like our dad could have been Husky/Shepherd mix.

Our mother was found in an abandoned pick up truck and she was already pregnant with us. The people who found her took her to Red Lake Rosie Rescue where we were born on August 10. We were all very lucky to be surrounded by people who cared enough to make sure that all of us were healthy and safe. 4 days after we were born we made the trip to Wisconsin with our mother, where we hope to find our forever homes.

Our mother is 38 lbs. At 10 weeks, the biggest one in our litter only weights 6 lbs. So it is a high probability that we will stay around the 40 lb. mark as adult dogs. Of course, with no idea of our father, that is not a guarantee.

I am paper trained and just starting crate training. We will soon begin obedience training too! And with in the next week we will be introduced to our foster homes cats. We have seen one on a few occasions already, but we have not got to play with her—our foster mom figured we were to young to get swiped by her nails if she did not like us.

Do you want a puppy that knows how to have fun? I am that puppy! I can play and jump and love you more and more everyday. When you have a bad day--I will make it better. When you need a good feel good moment, you just have to watch me for about a minute. I love kids and get alog great with other dogs. What a wonderful puppy I am!
Fill out the application so we can meet!

Apply now: Adoption Application

Adoption fees:
$250.00: Puppies under 6 months
$250.00: Dogs under 30 pounds
$175.00: Dogs over 30 pounds, over 6 months
There will be a $50.00 refund with proof of obedience class.

Adoption fee includes: microchipping, spay/neuter, initial vaccinations including rabies if age appropriate, HW testing for adult dogs over 6 months and deworming, HW preventative and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. ARVSS encourages adoptors to visit their own vet as soon as possible after the adoption.
